The 337th Anniversary of the Shutting of the Gates took place on Saturday 6th December. The weekend started on the Friday evening with firing the cannon on the Walls one and three times (13), following by touching the historic gates, this year's traditions being undertaken by the Browning Parent Club. Central to the day was the Service of Thanksgiving in St. Columbs Cathedral. The day concluded with the burning of an effigy of Lundy the Traitor before Branch Clubs departed at the end of the afternoon.

The 336th Anniversary of the Shutting of the Gates took place on Saturday 9th August. The weekend started on the Friday evening with firing the cannon on the Walls one and three times (13), following by touching the historic gates, this tradition being undertaken by the No Surrender Parent Club. Saturday began with the raising of the Siege Standards on Walker's Plinth. General Committee led the Parent Clubs around the Walls and then on to the War Memorial for an Act of Remembrance, after which the parade proceeded to the Service of Thanksgiving in St. Columbs Cathedral. When the Siege Pageant ended Branch Clubs crossed the bridge to join with their respective Parent Clubs at Ferryquay Gate to Walk through the City and on to the Waterside. When the last had saluted the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, the Parent Clubs reconvened to Walk to the Memorial Hall for the final salute and the conclusion of the day.
